School Uniform

It’s important to turn up to school looking ready to learn and a member of our education community. Our school uniform makes our children look smart and ready for a new day together.

Our Uniform:

• Navy sweatshirt or cardigan
• White or pale blue shirt or polo shirt
• Grey, black or navy skirt
• Grey or black short/long trousers
• Grey pinafore dress
• Alternatively, a blue check gingham or striped school dress may be worn in summer.

PE Uniform:

• White plain t-shirt
• Navy or black shorts
• Trainers
• A navy or black jog suit may be worn in winter for outdoor games

Indoor PE is normally undertaken in bare feet but parents may request that their children wear sand shoes or similar soft shoes if they have a foot complaint. Trainers are not worn for normal indoor PE lessons.

Jewellery

Apart from watches and stud earrings, jewellery is not allowed in school for safety reasons. If earrings are worn and cannot be removed they must be taped for P.E. 

Hairstyles

We prefer children to have sensible hairstyles that are suitable and safe for school. Very long hair can be problematic when children are playing and participating in PE, for this reason long hair should be tied back in a band.

Please note:

• All articles of clothing should be clearly marked with the owners name.
• School shoes should be sensible and comfortable. We do not allow high heels as these are dangerous when children are playing outside
• All children should arrive at school in their PE kit on the specified PE day; this means they stay in their PE kit for the whole day (see the news pages for each year groups PE day)
• No sports logos (i.e. Adidas, Nike) are permitted
• Football strips are not permitted
