Now that children are back at school, you can be assured that the school has undertaken a thorough risk assessment.
We are implementing all necessary measures to keep pupils, staff and visitors safe.
Attendance
School attendance remains mandatory and all the usual rules continue to apply. Enabling children and young people to attend their education setting regularly continues to be a national priority. As usual, schools are able to grant leaves of absence for pupils in exceptional circumstances.
COVID -19 Catch-up Premium Plan
The school’s Covid-19 Catch-up strategy is unashamedly targeted at the most disadvantage children within the school, either those in receipt of the Pupil Premium fund, those that have / had a social worker attached to their family or those who we know have struggled disproportionately to their peers.
The Education Endowment Foundation has provided research based strategies on how best to support vulnerable pupils. This guidance has been the starting point for our catch-up strategy.
